How to Make Fish

There are many ways to prepare fish, depending on your taste and the type of fish you're using. Here's a recipe for pan-fried fish that works well with most types of fish fillets:

Ingredients:

4 fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or halibut)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

Season the Fish:

1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.
2. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper.

Coat the Fish:

1. Place the flour on a plate.
2. Dredge each fish fillet in the flour, shaking off any excess.

Cook the Fish:

1. Heat the butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the fish fillets to the skillet, skin side down if they have skin.
3. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve:

1. Remove the fish from the skillet and transfer to a plate.
2. Serve the fish hot, with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
