Time in Which COVID-19 Shows its Effects (Incubation Period)

There is no fixed incubation period for COVID-19, but the usual findings are:

• 2 - 14 days according to the World Health Organization (WHO)
• 10 - 14 days according to China’s National Health Commission (NHC)
• 2 - 14 days according to The United States' CDC estimates
• 3 - 7 days, up to 14 days according to a leading Chinese online community for physicians and health care professionals

There are some cases in which incubation period is reported to be more than 24 days, but researchers say that it most probably represent a double exposure.
